I first sat before a PC screen back in 1977
, the equivalent of the Stone Age in computer technology terms. Now, along with my thirty years of computer experience, I’ve also collected a degree in Business Internet Technology, and a decade of experience as a Software Training Consultant.
I'm a Web Developer, a Graphic Designer, an occasional writer, an amateur photographer and jewellery designer. I like to make stuff. I enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together again - only better. I've been creating and designing since I was a tiny thing; It's my gift. As a consultant I’ve not merely used all kinds of software to create websites, both in corporate and private settings, I’ve actually written manuals and delivered presentations and classes to other people on how to do so.
This all adds up to the kind of experience that gives you a definite ‘eye’ for good design, and a deep understanding of the best way to implement a website to maximise exposure and sales on the web. After all, a successful website is a lot more than just handling Java, CSS, XML or HTML coding (though I have all that technical stuff covered too...)
You know, I get it. Really I do. You have grand ideas but you also have a pretty tight budget. Plus you’re simply far too busy... Too busy to spend time trying to pin down ‘html table attributes for vertical and horizontal alignment’ (whatever the hell they are!) when you could be painting gorgeous images, creating staggering photographic compositions or writing masterful Haikus.
So instead, tell me what you’re looking for, and I’ll translate your words into the technical wizadry your vision requires...
"I’m a Visual Artist..."
Are you looking for something cool and minimalist, with a revolving slideshow or a static gallery to showcase your paintings or photographs?
"I’m a Writer..."
Are you looking for something stylish, with lots of interactivity – such as newsletters, blogs and Members-Only pages - to keep your readers intrigued and returning on a regular basis?
"I’m a Musician..."
Are you looking for something modern and in vogue with online flash MP3 players that allow you to showcase your music talents and let your visitors play snippets of your music?
"I need to be able to sell my stuff online..."
Are you ready to start selling your products and services on the web? Fed up with telling people “If you give me a call on this number I can get your details and post one to you” – then never hearing from them again? Then you’ll probably be interested in setting up dedicated sales pages within your website. You have two options;
- Have a sales page with links that take your visitors to your external sales resources (such as your Ebay, Amazon or Etsy store. This option is perfectly suited to the setup of your Brochure and Portfolio websites.
- Have a professional shopping cart integrated into your website that allows your visitors to add all the products/services they are interested in, where they will be held until they are ready to remove or purchase them. The Shopping Cart is included FREE when you purchase an Online Sales Site.
Choose the Website Option that best suits your needs now.
